Symposium: Recent Advances in Photonics organized by Dept. of Atomic & Mol Physics, Manipal University

On 13th November 2017, we (https://manipal.edu/damp.html) have organized a symposium on "Recent Advances in Photonics." Professor Dr. G.K. Prabhu [Director, Manipal Institute of Technology & Pro Vice-Chancellor (Technology & Management), Manipal University Manipal] has kindly graced the function as chief guest and delivered the presidential address. Five experts from photonics filed has presented their recent results of their research. Later in the evening, we had a great opportunity to discuss our results with Professor Kattera A. Suresh another inspiring personality delivered the inaugural address on the symposium. Here are some pictures of the symposium.

Annual Sports Meet - 2017

On 4th November 2017, I have been invited as one of the chief guests of the Annual Sports Meet -2017 of Christ School, Manipal (http://christschoolmanipal.org/default.asp). It was a wonderful moment and brought back to my school days. I used to actively participate in the long jump, high jump, basketball, kho-kho etc during my school days. More than sports, during school days I was a good orator in Tamil, and never missed a prize in any school function. College life changed the focus ... and took sharp turns. I also liked the gift they presented (hibiscus plant) presented by the school. A big thank you to the school management and Mrs. Elisa Vaz (Principal). Innovation Day @ Manipal University 2016: III Prize

Manipal University organizes Innovation Day every year. Our group has participated in 2016 and presented the laser-based crystallization technique as an alternative technique to crystallize biomolecules (drug). Out of 40 teams, we have won the III prize.
